Masters Admission Requirements
The Masters course is open to both EU and non-EU students. To be eligible to apply, applicants must hold a recognised first degree, corresponding to three years of Higher Education / University studies (i.e., at the level of Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts) in a field related to the topics of the course such as Linguistics, Languages, Translation Studies, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
The applicants are required to possess language skills required to attend the universities of their choice. Unless they are native speakers of the languages of the countries chosen, they must have a minimum C1 level of competence in the languages, according to the European Common Reference Framework for Languages. For example, non-native speakers of English are required to pass a recognised international English test such as IELTS (score 6.0 or above) or have a bachelor's degree in English.
The number of applications must be limited to three Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses maximum, according to the Call for Proposals (EACEA/07/07). In the eventual case that a student applies to more than three EM Courses he/she will be excluded from the selection for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. The European Community has an automated checking system in place.
